Our carefully selected Companion Families are very special people. They have
been interviewed in depth to ensure they fit the bill. We get to know them
really well before matching them to a vacationing dog.
Who they are – It goes without saying that all our Companion
Families, without exception, are absolutely crazy about dogs.
Some are actively retired people who have had dogs all of their lives
but now enjoy the freedom and flexibility of caring for dogs on vacation.
Others are younger, often with a family at home, where the addition of a visiting
dog is great fun for all.
How it works – We’ve done all the hard work so our Companion
Families don’t have to. We think it’s important that our Companion Families
concentrate on looking after visiting dogs. We manage the awkwardness of dealing
with money, insurance and paperwork so that the enjoyment of looking after visiting
dogs remains their focus.
FlipFlop is able to provide all the benefits of dog ownership without the fulltime
emotional and financial commitments attached to owning a dog of your own. Our
fantastic Companion Families are the heart of our business and we simply couldn’t
do what we do without them.
